News and Debates section?

Hello. Is there a section called News and Debates? I have heard it mentioned a few times but I can't see it. I tried to access a thread in general chatter re Jimmy Savile, which looks like it's been moved to the section, but it says I don't have permission. Please could I have access? Many thanks
