For those of you who tried clomid and it didnt work... What was the next step? I tried 50 mg and 100 mg and neither of them worked. I am going to the dr thurs and he already suggested to maybe put me on metaformin but wondering what the next step might be.

Hey, i had experience with clomid but it isn't the same like yours. It worked well with me (ovulating, uterus good) but it didn't make us conceive. I'm on met too bcause of my pcos. Do u know why ur dr wants to put u on met? I heard some ladies switched to femara when clomid isn't succesfull.

^^wss. Do you have PCOS? Definitely try Femara...lots of women who are clomid resistant have success with it!

Hi ladies I'm anxious about this. Iv done 11 months of Clomid at 100mg. I miscarried during my 6th month but only carried for 5weeks. Iv now finished my course and wondering what steps will be next for me. I'm 25 and been trying for 3 years, last year I was diagnosed with pcos but I feel cause of my age I'm not getting taken seriously. It's driving
Me crazy :(

Love to all xxx

I meant iv done 12 months of Clomid. Obviously no success. However I feel that my linning has thinned out as my periods are shorter and its like red water coming out of me :(

I can't add a link as I'm on my phone but search for our group-

Young PCOS'ers! 25 BFPs down!

Between all of us we've tried everything lol

Femara is what I was put on after clomid didn't work - Femara did work. I mean, I don't have a BFP but my follicle and ovulation was definitely there, so it's a start ;) I'm also on Metformin .... and I am trying to cut carbs down to a bare minimum to help with the overall control of PCOS ... but yeah, as all of you with PCOS know it's hard to stay away from the carbs :P

I did 8 cycles with clomid up to 200mg and never ovulated. I o'd on my first cycle with femera and got my BFP. I strongly recommend it! Femara didnt have the awful side effects I had with clomid either.
