Hello,
I'm in need of some advice. I have been given Clomid 50mg for 3 cycles and then 100mg for 3 cycles with my next appointment after all of this....so my next appointment is in August.
I am on CD17 and no ovulation so the 50mg hasn't worked. I was told to go for a CD21 blood test to check for ovulation.
I know that some people are given ultrasounds and check ups throughout their time on Clomid but didn't know if this was just a private healthcare thing or if NHS patients had experience of this.
I really want to know what's going on inside there...my plan is to try and persuade my GP to allow me to up to 100mg next cycle. It was a hospital referral doctor who prescribed me Clomid in the first place so I'm worried that he will tell me to stick with the 50mg next cycle despite it not working.
Is there any history of 50mg working second cycle when it failed first cycle?
Sorry for all the questions....
I guess my main question is...Should I be demanding/requesting monitoring during my Clomid cycles on the NHS?
I'm in East Sussex if that helps anyone...
