We call it whichever stage it's referred to in my pregnancy book. For example, week 10 is a prune (I think) so we've been calling it "prune". Previously weekly nicknames have been "the raisin", "the olive" and I'm particularly looking forward to "the navel orange" week!

We call our bean 'Gary' I'm not even sure where that came from! Neither of us really like the name so if its a boy we won't be calling him that - and I'm really hoping for a girl

One of our friends has a little boy they call cub or cubby for short - christened Jacob - it may be worth considering if you have a boy

when i was pregnant with my daughter Emily, we didnt know if she was going to be a boy or girl cos she hid herself on the scan so well, but she used to go mental jumping everywhere, so she got nicknamed Tigger after she kicked my friend in the head. LOL
And my son Jacob was Bub from day one, and funnily enough, to this day he still answers to his nickname Bub, lol, he gets Jacob if he is naughty

I know that technically my bean hasnt developed enough to be a certain sex, but I always call it a she, or by the name it will have(if its actually a girl Justice), for some reason I think its a girl.

I sort of half-arsedly call it a Toffee Crisp on this forum, but in real life I don't refer to it at all. I don't even think of it as a baby. I know that sounds cold, but until I see a heartbeat, soomething to PROVE to me that it exists, I'm not getting attached.
