This is what I saw in another forum and I think it is great :happydance::happydance:

Before we found out the gender of each of our children and could call them by name, my DH and I gave them nicknames in utero. Our last name is a long German name and the first three letters are E-g-g so we went with an "egg" theme.
 Our first was The Egglet.
:baby:Our 2nd was The Omelette.
:dohh:Baby #3 was Baby Fritatta (though had we known she was going to be born so close to Christmas, we'd probably have called her Baby Egg Nog!).
:blush:Baby #4 was Baby Egg Foo Yong (he was due around Chinese New Year and a friend of mine who is of Chinese heritage bestowed that name on him).

Do you have a nickname for your little bean? What is it and how did you come up with it?:hugs:

Cupcake.
Mostly because I found out just after my birthday. And for my birthday my friends randomly decided to get me lots of cupcake themed presents (cupcake candles, cute knickers with cupcakes on and other bits and bobs) and so as my BFP felt like a late birthday present to myself we decided to use the nickname Cupcake.
Im sure if Im having a boy he's absolutely going to love that before he was born he was called Cupcake  xx

Me and DH are completely boring - refer to it as "it" or "baby"

i call ours gummy bear

my OH has always referred to the bubs as IT....until the other day he was talkin about something and then said oh my little peanut LOL

This one will be the same as last one, bumpage lol

Mine has taken on the name Oompa (as in Oompa Loompa), courtesy of Stiletto Sam in TTC I believe. singing PMA chants in my journal for me!
It's stuck now!!

Been referring to the baby as "Peanut"

on an early scan she was so tiny we called her pea xxx

Secoya.
Taken from "Friends" - it's one of the random names that Rachel comes up with for her and Ross's baby that he vetoed. We've got all the dvds and have seen them many times, and wanted to pick something that was relatively unisex (I think she suggests it for a girl but we're ignoring that) and that we would never actually want to call our child!

I have to say though, it's growing on me.....

With my 1st i don't remember having a nickname really just bump i think , I kinda knew he was a boy before sexing scan & had his name picked so he got called that really.

With this one i've been calling it spud/spudnik lol I feel girly this time but then get days i feel its a boy , Praying for a girl though!

Mines a pudding...or xmas pudding being that my due date is december 18th and we have all had a lol thinking i'll be late and it'll be born on xams day!

For the moment being, ours is little bean in our native tongues: 'frijolín' (Spanish) & 'papunen' (Finnish).

The nicknames we give to it, will change according to the development of the :baby:.

:hug::hug:

DH is Bear (not his real name!), so ours has to be Cub.

Before we found out that she was a girl, she was Yogi.

At the time we found out I was pregnant, we were both eating a lot of porridge, so DH became Daddy bear and I became Mummy bear. So bub had to be a bear.

We decided against Rupert and Pooh!

We call ours the lil' seahorse, because our first scan pic looked like one.

called ours beany baby. the weekend just before ovulation we were at a wedding up in cumbria for our friends. the brides name is Robina and we call her bean for short. thought it would quite sweet, it was that or something easter related as it was easter weekend :)
