I had a failed IUI in which I started bleeding on day10piui even though i was on progesterone supplements. This cycle the doc cancelled the iui and I had an annovulatory cycle. Doc said it happens sometimes bcos of the hormones I have taken. She asked me to take progesterone from day16-27 so that my cycle wud get back to normal. Now 3 days I have stopped progesterone and still no AF??? I have to start an iui this month. Any idea when the AF shud come

Hi Looknomore...
Sounds like we're in a similar situation. I took progesterone during the 2WW of my IUI; the IUI failed and my period came about 3 days after I stopped taking the supplements. My doctor told me it can take up to a week for AF to come after stopping progesterone.

Hope it comes soon for you! :hugs:

Thanks for ur reply Reikibaby. Do u have ur AF right now? Has the doc suggested another iui for u in this cycle? I have full blown PMS symptoms but no AF :(

My AF came and went. Because I have 2 leftover cysts from all the meds I'm having a rest cycle. I'm hoping to try again with another IUI in April.

I hope your AF comes soon - what a pain!! :hugs:

I'm glad AF came for you (not often we think that huh?)

Mine was very painful, but not too heavy. I had to take some serious painkillers which totally knocked me out. Here's hoping we don't see another AF for 9 months!!
