no control line?

I just took a test (I'll be honest, just cause I love seeing those two lines... also goin to see my dad tomorrow and I wanted to show him one to tell him the news) and I thought it was negative so I just about panicked. Then I realized that it was the control line that was missing. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Is this a faulty test? I just took one yesterday and it was very very positive...

Have heard that sometimes the positive eats all the dye. Never had it happen to me except when I was negative and tested with nothing showing up.

I've had a super light control line before- I also read that the test line can pull from the control dye if your hcg is super high.

How far along are you? I took one yesterday and there was almost no control line. Depending on where you are at, your HCG might be so high that the test line takes up all the dye. I think this is why you aren't supposed to keep testing but I'm a POAS addict so I don't blame you!

Lol, I did 3 and they were all the same so I called the first response help line. They told me that the test line is pulling all the dye because the hormone levels are high. Sooo... that's that.

I was just going to say that...it's not a faulty test. Your hormone is so high that its using up all the dye
