No longer BFing and periods...

How soon after you stopped BFing did you get a period? Or, if you never BF, how soon after giving birth did you get your period??

Pumped for nearly a month after she was born (say 3 weeks to be conservative). Period arrived when she was 9 weeks old. Be warned it was a particularly heavy one - ended up using the rest of my maternity towels on it cos normal pads weren't cutting the mustard.

I've been combi feeding since he was 6 weeks, he's now 6.5 months and I stopped bfing 4 days ago.
No period since he's been born, not sure if stopping bfing totally will mean they return - kind of hope so, much as I'm not looking forward to it, thought they'd be back by now!

I nursed until she was 9 wks then combo fed for another 2 wks before she quit on me altogether. Then I noticed signs of ovulation about 2 wks after that, so my period showed about a month after we stopped altogether and 6 wks after cutting way back.
My first one was really heavy too. I was soaking overnight pads every hour and a half ew!
