Yesterday, I had some spotting. It happened one time, after a wipe. I know it was vaginal, but it was after a BM.

I haven't had any pain and there hasn't been anymore spotting. However, I am so scared. So scared.

I saw the HB twice. My next appt isn't until next week. Can this happen and still be a healthy pregnancy?

Yes absolutely...spotting can happen for a lot of reasons, and it's a really good sign that it stopped. I had spotting with my DD for a week early on, and then once later on too, and she's fine! It's impossible not to worry, but I'm sure all is ok. it's always reassuring to go get it checked.

Absolutely - Unless you have heavy bleeding and cramping I would try not to worry, I know that's easier said than done but spotting can be TOTALLY normal. Wishing you all the best x

I had what is called a subchorionic hematoma with my DD. I woke up soaked in blood. I was convinced it was all over but baby was born H&H at 39 weeks. If it was only one wipe, keep calm and talk to your doctor about it. I just read in a magazine at the OB's office that spotting is incredibly common in the first trimester because of increased blood flow to your uterus, cervix, and va-jayjay. I know it is a freak out after a loss but you should be ok. I'll keep my FXed for you!

I bled throughout almost the entire first trimester..mostly after BMs and all. Mine turned out to be from the fish oil I was taking. I dont know if it was dangerous or not but I was sick of seeing it so I will never take it again during a pregnancy. So many different things can cause spotting. It's probably nothing, especially if there's a heartbeat. Don't be afraid to pester the doctor if it gets worse though or even go to the ER for a scan! Thats what I did a couple times cause I couldnt stand the worry =)
