No ovulation cramps this month

Hello,
On CD 14 I normally get pretty painful ovulation cramps for about an hour. Nothing this month CD 15 is coming to an end. Does this mean I didn't ovulate this month? I am already feeling out for the month

Maybe your just ovulating late. That's completely normal. It's also entirely possible that you won't get pains from time to time. Sometimes I get them and sometimes I don't, but when I don't I know I ovulate because I use OPK's. Maybe the fact that this is different is a good thing and means that you will get pregnant.

I ovulated late last cycle and didn't feel my normal achy feeling I get, but since I chart, I saw that I definitely ovulated. Don't worry yet, my O date changes all the time. I have only ovulated on day 14 once.

They think one of the reasons for O pain is one ovary has more blood flow to it than the other, causing the growing follicle to push painfully against the walls of the ovary. This is also why there would most likely be a little spotting at the same time, because the bursting follicle also bruises blood vessels. Since this is almost always in ONE ovary and not the other, and since we don't ovulate from the same ovary every single time, it stands to reason that you wouldn't feel O pain on the months you ovulate from the other side. I think that same article said that 1 out of 4 cycles will be painful in these women.... although I think they're being too safe in this estimate. I would say atleast half if not more of my cycles are painful.... I normally O from the same painful side for several months in a row and then have a couple non painful months.

I'm currently going through the same thing right now! I actually had just posted a new thread right before I found this. We just started TTC and I've only had lower back aches and one day of annoying cramps which is VERY rare. Your answer gave me some relief!
