Any of you been to a wedding where there was no official photographer

We had one, now we dont  We only wanted one to cover the church so about 2 hours and didnt want them printing out either, just put on disk so we can print them out when we can afford to.

If I just got family to take the photos would I regret it? Photos is an important part of life to me but I just think its going to be impossible with hardly any money or time

What would you do?

We didn't have a photographer at our wedding, we just got friends & family to take them, then we're going to print them out when we have time. We had a few posey ones but some of the natural ones come out loads better.

Tbh, I don't think it's completely necessary for a photographer, especially on a budget.

Have a look in there and see how well mine came out :) seriosuly chuffed with them, and they were free too :) x

Also just to add, sometimes if you join printing websites thwey have offers where they'll give you a certain amount of prints free just for joining. The Money saving expert website has a bit on where he updates all the offers as they come out. So its worth just registering on a few and getting your free ones!!! If you arent bothered about receiving them all at different times of course. x

What date is your wedding hun and what is the postcode (PM me if you like)

I might just be able to help :hugs:

we didnt have an official photographer at our wedding and i love our wedding photos, they were taken by family members!!! im sure you will have a beautiful day hun xxx

didn't have a photographer for our wedding either. but the ones friends took of us captured all we needed. :)

we didnt have a photographer, but if there was one thing i would change, it would be to have spent the money on one. We have some great pics, my friends a keen photographer and done us some great action shot pics, but we dont have any of those 'outside the church' sorts, well we do, but they are not professional ones. Most theres at elast one person looking in the other direction, never directly at the camera, there were so many cameras going off we didnt know where to look!!

Could you designate some one as the offical photographer, just to make sure that they are the person every one is looking at?

Well it is our wedding 5wks tomorrow(cnt believe how fast time has gone! lol) and we are having a guy my parents know who does photography semi pro and charges under £100 then he will give us the memory card and we can print off what pics we like the best :) we are also having a friend video the service etc and my friends and family will be taking pics also. I must b honest, iv never liked "staged" pics and much prefer natural ones so im more than happy with this setup :)
