No temperature rise after positive opk? I'm confused...

Hi there,

I had a positive opk on Monday so was expecting a temperature rise on the Tuesday or Wednesday. No rise.

Still didn't get one this morning! What is going on?

My temps were: Monday 97.2, Tuesday 97.33, Wednesday 97.18 and today 97.33

Has anyone experienced this or have any thoughts?

Yes. Opks show the hormone rise that leads to ovulation, it doesn't show actual ovulation.
I had this three weeks ago when I almost ovulated, but then was stressed so ovulation didn't end up occurring then. It did a few days later though and I got my bfp.
Keep baby dancing. Ovulation is easily delayed for various reasons.
