Just had a 6 week check and LO hasn't put on any weight since two weeks ago. The health visitor was happy with his development otherwise - alertness, tone, cooing noises etc.
we also had a good chat about feeding and she watched him latch on and feed, concluding that we were doing everything right.

We are back again to get weighed in a week. Anyone any advice on what could have caused this dip? He has always been in 9th centile but this has him down at 2nd today.

I've been expressing and feeding him a bottle a day and have tried to stock up some freezer milk - I guess not the best idea at the mo?

Has he been feeding regularly still? Or sick a lot?

Sounds silly, but sometimes a big poo can make a difference.
I dunno, if you are feeding on demand and leaving him to finish, then perhaps it was just an odd weigh in, particularly given the HV is happy with his development.

Feeding normally (on demand and very often) with the odd tiny sick up, nothing unusual I think. Hopefully just a blip then!
