Sorry to hear that - it's just selfish and immature of people to spread news of a baby as if it's just the latest piece of gossip.
When I found out I was pregnant, I was a few weeks from finishing my schooling, and me and a friend were chatting about babies, the next part is just what she was saying, so isn't 100% necessary to my story but as she told me all of this, I trusted that she wouldn't go blabbing around the school.
She really wants a baby, but is struggling with how to achieve her dream: she is in a relationship with another girl. Her girlfriend has a male friend (whom I think is also gay) who is willing to be a sperm donor for them, and originally she was going to be the one to go through with the pregnancy as she is a couple of years older - however she then had to get a hysterectomy due to experiencing terrible pain in her abdomen so the plan never went through. She still wants to have a baby with her girlfriend, but knows that her mum would kill her for getting pregnant at 17 - nearly 18. So is confused about whether to just do it anyway...
So anyway, I put my trust in her and let her know that I am in fact pregnant (she already knew I had been trying and hadn't said anything about that).
BAM!
Next day, a few people came up to me asking if it was true...
Next day, the whole school year were talking about me behind my back...
Next day, three members of staff called me into their offices for "talks".
So just learn from your mistakes, I sure as hell know that I shouldn't have said anything now. And if I get pregnant again after my current pregnancy, I'll definitely only be telling family and my boyfriend.
