Non bleeding Complete Placenta Previa - at what gestation was your baby born

I have my next apt on the 21st at just over 36 weeks and I know the Dr is going to want to book the section. Ideally I would like to book it as late as possible but don't want to be silly about it either. I've had only one tiny bleed of old blood at 20+3 so far. So my questions are:

1) At what gestation was your section booked for ?
2) Did you reach your section date ?
3) If you didn't reach your section date at what gestation was your baby born ?
4) What constitutes a significant enough bleed to precipitate delivery ? When will they watch and wait ?

my mum (although this was 10 years ago) had this with my brother. She bled all the way through her pregnancy and spent the last few weeks in hospital because if it. she had a section at 37 weeks. my brother was over 8lb at this point to.

I did not have complete but I had severe partial (a 2 mm gap) and was asymptomatic throughout. They scheduled mine for 38+1 and wanted it as close to 38 weeks as possible. We had no problems with the c section at all and she was born at 7lb 2oz and we were treated the same as any other birth. When I went in at 36 weeks I was told it had to be 38 weeks and any bleeding whatsoever at that point to go straight to hospital and if I could not easily get there to call an ambulance. I think the problem would be if they try to engage so they get them out early so they dont try - my little one did not so was born without issue

I had my son at 38 weeks exactly having been in hospital from 34 weeks. I had no bleeds at all. I wouldn't push your luck too far past 38 weeks. Good luck x
