Normal? Baby 3 lbs already! I'm only 28 wks

I just had a 28 week US and baby is measuring at 74 percentile and already 3 lbs!!

That seems big to me!

Anyone else's baby measure like this and how much did they weigh at birth?

If you get measurement by scan can be well off.

At my 28wk 4d scan they said approx 3lb.

She was estimated to be 9lb 10oz at term.
I went 9 days over and she arrived at 7lb 11oz (less than my first)

I had wondered the same. My baby wad 2 lbs 10 oz at 28 weeks. This is my first.

My baby was estimated 2lb 13oz at my 28 week growth scan. Seems like a normal number hun but they can be pretty wrong any way
Her weight was considered the 56th percentile and her measurements; femour, head circumference and abdominal circumference were all in the 70's percentile.

My boy was 2 pounds, 8 ounces on US at 26 wks, 6 days. My last US was at 32 wks, 5 days and he was 5 pounds-77th percentile.

at 28+6 my baby weighed 3 pounds 13 ounces.....I gave birth 2 weeks ago at 39 weeks even and he was 8 pounds 8 ounces. He was big but not as big as they predicted!

at 28+4 I was told my lo was 3lb 4oz, he was born at 38+3 weighing 7lb 8oz

My DD was estimated 2lb 8oz at 28+3, she was born at 39+6 weighing 8lb 2oz

At 28+4 my lo was estimated at 3 pounds 3 ounces. She was born at 40+4 weighing 7 pounds 8 ounces x

at 31 weeks rio weighed 5lbs.. he was born at 32 weeks weighing 5lb 8.5oz.. mine were pretty accurate

I got told on monday at 27+4 that baby was 2lb 10oz. She wouldn't cooperate for the scan so we go back tomorrow. Itll be interesting to see what they say she weighs at 28+2. I'd guess close to 3lbs now. DD was born 11days overdue and was 7lb 13oz x

Alex was born at 27+4 at 2lb 14oz, so an actual weight. She was deemed as being a big baby but who knows what would have happened if she went to term.

My second was full term. The scans said she was big but she was only 6lb 11.5oz
