Normalcy after Mirena

I'm waiting for normalcy in cycles and wanted to see if anyone else could help here.

Sept 8 - mirena out
Sept 9 - Heavy bleeding, 5 days.
Sept 25 - period
Oct 23 - period
Nov 25 - period
Dec 17 - spotting, for one week until
Dec 25 - massive period, just blood but leaking thru everything, 6 days
Jan 13 - spotting
Jan 15 - pass large clot
Jan 16 - period - heavy two days(6 FULL pad/day) / normal 4 more days
Jan 28 - bleeding again...

Geez that's a lot of bleeding. Did you have periods while you had the IUD in?? How long did you have it in for?? I had mine removed a week ago but I had pre planned to have it removed during the time I expected my period. I always had really lite periods on the IUD and after it was removed I had bright red blood which I never got on the IUD and then old blood and this lasted about three days and now Im done and just waiting to see if I am ovulating and if I get anymore bleeding or if my period will continue on its normal cycle. I wish I could help more. My sis in law is the only other person I know who had one and she got it removed and was prego in a month. And she didn't have a period the whole four years on it.
