I was just wondering how much everyones bills in total, inc rent/mortgage food everything really, come to ? Ours are £1480 and thats mortgage and normal bills, which are as low as possible really, £200 for shopping so not extravagant there, its seem so much and we're not left with much disposable income, around £400 per month but that doesn't even seem to end up being disposable and just gets spent on odd bits ? If its too personal question don't answer lol only if you feel comfortable to ! x:flower:

I get housing benefits, so I dont have huge outgoings.

Rent: £25 per month
Council Tax: £10 per month
Water: £30 per month
Gas: £40 per month
Electric: £30 per month
Food: £100 - £150 per month
Travel: £25 per month
Baby stuff: £40 per month

Income is around £700pcm

rent 550
c/tax 110
elec/gas 40
internet/phone 20
mobiles x2 30
insurance 15
OH CSA 220
o/d fee 30
petrol 350
food 160

think thats about it.

we put £1580 per month into the joint account between us to cover all bills, shopping, mortgage, utilities, sky, water, insurances etc. We've just got to the point were we manage to save £100 a month with cutting back on a few things. We do have a chocolate labrador with a sensitive stomach tho who needs more expensive food.

We both pay for diesel, mobiles, haircuts, nails, car insurance and other personal things out of our own money. For me that would be around £200 per month.

Mortgage £400
water £20
gas/electric £63-this has just gone down, but it will go up over winter
Council tax £128
TV license £11
pet insurance £6
virgin media £25-£30
DH and mine mob bills-£33
Life insurance £10
DH Pension £40
Shopping £200
Petrol-this is a guess as not really sure how much DH spends £90

Sure I have missed something!

xxxxxx

OMG I dunno! I'll have a go:

Rent: 1100 per month
Council Tax: 135 / month
Elect / gas: ?60
Internet/phone: ?30 (OH works from home)
My mobile: 25 / month (OH has iphone, dunno how much for him)
My travel: ?80 (I use PAYG oyster card), OH works from home, no car
Miscellanous (inc charity direct debits, life linsurance etc): approx 100 / month
DD savings account: 100 / month
Food and other household stuff: ?400 (this is a stab in the dark, though I guess if I wanted I could add it up from our joint account statement!)
DD nursery fees: ?400 (there's a question mark as I can't work out exactly what it is due to the way it's deducted from my salary, it's 670 a month before the tax, NI concessions etc so I reckon it's approx 400 of what would be my take home pay)

I make that about £2300 per month.

We both pay for our own clothes, personal things we want etc (like haircuts) separately. Though I hardly spend anything from my own account as I only ever wear Primark jeans and haven't made time for the hairdresser in the last 6 months! We both save money from our own wages on top of the above, though we don't have a set amount we save, just what we think we can afford to put aside each month.

We are more fortnightly than monthly so I'll do it fortnightly.

Rent: $360
