Hey all.

I'm vacationing in Mexico and yesterday we were super busy at a waterpark and I've been constantly walking and swimming, etc. Yesterday and today I havent felt my baby girl kick hardly at all. Usually when I sit in the sun she goes crazy and kicks so much but today while laying in the sun she didnt move at all. Do you think this is normal at this stage or should I be concerned? thanks girls :)

Moving tends to rock the baby to sleep, and I know most humans and animals tend to get more lethargic in the heat, so it makes sense it would be less active in the sun as well.

thanks for your reply! She is moving more today, thank God! She had me so worried. I think she flipped to head down and thats why I wasn't feeling her...now her movements are lower down instead of on my sides like they have been. Thanks for the advice it could definitely be from the heat and me being so busy as well!!!:flower:

I find when I'm busy I feel baby less. I had a chilled out day the other day and felt movement all day long, next day I was busy and hardly felt a thing. If you do get concerned though it's always best to be safe. I'm too early to be counting kicks yet but with my daughter I always worried as there would be days id feel her less. It can be hard to know whether it's due to baby's position or if you've been busy and not noticed.
