When I was pregnant with the wee monkey he'd wake me every morning doing his little kick boxing aerobics routine around 5-6am. Now, between 5-6amish he's restless, grunting and squirming before he wakes himself, and me by farting like there's no tomorrow!

It doesn't matter how well he's winded, I've tried mylicon (like infacol) etc. and nothing has helped. He just wants to let rip at the same time every morning!

I think they all babies are pretty much the same - not necessarily with farting but generally grunting, groaning, moving etc... I get much better sleep now that my LO is in his own room!!

mia's the same 5 o clock sharp shel be grunting doing this weird kicking thing were her legs go high in the air while farting.
this might sound daft but have you tried winding before during and after? also you can buy bottles that i have were it has a suction at the bottom to release all air out the bottle.
dont worry i think all babies set their alarm at 5 in the morn lol xxx

i thought Mirren was doing really well sleeping 7.30-7 with a feed around 4-5am. But she's been in our room again for the last few days while guests slept in her room, and boy is she noisy! She shuffles and grunts from 5am-6.30am! can't wait til she goes back in her room tomorrow night, lol.

My LO is the exact same but he starts his grunting, shuffling, kicking and FARTING (oh my is it loud!!!!) at around 6:45 am I just try and sleep through it until I hear his first scream or cry, then I pick him up, change him, feed him and after this he is in his happy mood wide awake until about 9 am. It cracks me up what a production it is for him to wake up with all the grunts and farts!!:haha:

Vix, Ronan is BF so alas I can't trade my boobies in for another model (well not without paying a lot of money! ;) ).

I'm glad to hear that I'm not alone in the morning fart alarm club though! I just count my blessings that they don't stink. There's enough of that with the dog & his daddy! :mrgreen:

:rofl::rofl:

little trumper! My LO nearly always does a poo when he's on the breast and the warning signs are a 5 min succession of very noisy farts. Dirty boys :mrgreen:

Hehe Evie is exactly the same for about an hour before she wakes up in the mornings! Her legs go up in the air and *parp* off she goes :haha: She's a real grunter during the night as it is... she's like the Sloth in Ice Age when he sleeps on a rock :lol:

Ronan is such a noisy sleeper at the best of times and every grunt, chirp and bleat (he sounds like a little billy goat) wakes his poor daddy up. Sadly I think the monkey is going to have to start sleeping in his cot in his own room in the next couple months rather than my husband losing sleep (he has a job he really can't afford to be making mistakes in due to sleep dep) or me losing having my hubby sleeping beside me at night when he goes into the other room to sleep.

My daughter is the exact same. 5.30 - 6am she is on her back disco dancing in her cot, trumping away! Its funny but i just wish it was an hour or so later!
