I would expect that your doc will prescribe clomid to get you ovulating, that works for most people. I am taking my first pill today! Good luck

How long are your cycles normally? Are they regular? Do you do your Basel body temp?
If you have longer cycles then you may ovulate later then cd 14 and therefore it wouldn't show on day 21 bloods, my cycle is around 36 days and I ovulate between cd 19 and 22 and therefore I needed bloods taken later in the cycle. Doctors can give you clomid to help you ovulate, please don't give up there really is loads they can do. Has your oh had a sperm test yet? x

I went to my gyno 1st and she prescribed me metformin my 2nd visit after my bloods came back it showed i was insulin resistant. She also advised me to start taking prenatals right away. And she referred me to a RE. And he started me on femara. goodluck!!!! Dont sweat you still have lots of hope

Hi, depending on where you live will depend on what the doctor can do for you.

I know in North East England and Northern Ireland the doctors aren't allowed to give any fertility treatments and are supposed to refer you to the FS for those but elsewhere doctors can provide medication such as Clomid (if they do, make sure you are monitored as the risks of OHSS (Over Hyper Stimultion Syndrome) and high and also without monitoring you don't know if it's working).

It doesn't matter how old you are, the want for a baby comes when it does regardless of age. We started trying when I was 21 and he was 23, he's going to be 27 in March and it's my 25th in just over two weeks. I am lucky that I have had doctors paying attention to me since the start of out journey without any discrimination. If your GP is making you feel like an idiot can you try another in the same surgery or is it possible for you to go to another surgery?

I would also insist on getting your fellas sperm tested as well. Some of the treatments wreck havoc on your body, and it can be very emotional with all the hormones in the air and you don't want to be putting yourself through it is your mans swimmers are a problem too.

Although you two have a beautiful daughter together already, there could still be fertility issues on his side, just like there is yours.

Good luck with your journey, I hope you get positive results soon. X
