Not Ovulating :(

I am soooooo upset. Have an IUI scheduled which is not happening cos my body refuses to ovulate. I got the HCG trigger 52 hours back. The follicle is 27 mm today. It grew 5 mm in the last 12 hours and is just not coming out. Is 27 mm too big? Dunno what to do

I don't have any advice I'm afraid, but just wanted to say i hope you get it sorted out soon. Have you had the insemination already and how do they know you havent ovulated? Has your clinic given you any advice at all?

IUI got cancelled According to the doc the follicle has become too big and might not rupture. It will dissolve automatically with my period. But there was no point of an IUI.

So- it has a name. Its called Lutinized Unruptured follicle and is a cause of Unexplained Infertility in women. And is caused by stress Doc says that it seems like a one off in my case rather than a recurring thing but I am so disappointed. Also, I am so surprised that even after the HCG trigger and a positive LH surge the Ovulation did not happen. What bad luck!!
