ladies i'm having a really wobbly moment!! i do want to BF #2, i loved feeding katie and want to give them the best start in life.

but i'm really worried about htings going wrong again. i know like pregnancy, no 2 BF experiances are the same, but i'm so worried i'm going to get the same problems and worries as last time and i dont know if i can cope with that all overa gain.

i know this time i'll know the signs to look or and stuff, which is a bit better, but i just feel so unsure!

i dont want to go thru the weeks and weeks of hard work to get BF established only to then have to go thru the stress of weaning onto a bottle!!

think i just need a bit of reassurance xx

I only tried to bf the first month or so with Jasmine... but I am planning to put forth a better effort next time. i think it would be easier when you have 2 babies...

Im hoping with the experience I had, and the knowledge i've gained that bfing may be easier the second time around.

If you have trouble with your supply, you can look up holistic remedies and tips to increase it.

You know what, I'm bloody petrified too!!

I think we just need to go into it with our wisdom and an open mind. We can put in to it as much as we have but bottle feeding isn't poison and if it's best for our babies to be on formula for our whole family then that's how it'll be. :hugs:

Im only going to BF for a short time again next time, 2 monthsish) assuming I dont have any problems. I couldnt do it for 6 months I found it soooo hard, and I wasnt in any pain.

I would say just go with the flow and take each day at a time. Dont put too much pressure on yourself because looking after two little babies will be pressure enough, not to scare you or anything!

thanks guys!! i originally said i'd do it for 2 weeks, then my mum was like, no do it for 6 weeks thats best. so sounds really silly, but i dont want to disappoint my mum...although i'm sure having 2 babys at 21 must be a bit of a disappointment

god i'm so confused what to do! half of me's saying just do the first couple of days, so LO gets the colostrum and stuff, but then the rest of me's like well its not hard to BF really.

when i had katie i was adamant and i couldnt see why poeple wouldnt BF, but now, i suppose cos i had a bad experience, i' worryin bout it. i had to feed katie literally every hour atleast for atleast 1/2 an hour normally. argh!!!!

I did 6wks with emily. it's been so much easier this time. ive just spent the day with some of hubbys old wk colleagues (we are on hols) and they have 4 kids. the first 3 had cleft palate and even with all their problems she said bfing was easier each time.

I knew I waanted to do better this time but I didn't put pressure on myself. I went with the flow.

just see how it pans out :-)

do whatever you feel most comfortable with hunny. Either way you choose to feed no one will think any the less of you :hugs:
