hello ladies! i'm new to this site so please bear with me~
my name is makayla and i have a question for you all..
i'm on the bcp 'reclipsen' which is a combination pill.
i'm usually pretty good about taking it, but this month i've
been neglecting it. for instance, i started the pack 3 days
late and have missed so many that i've doubled up about
5 times now.. the last 2+ weeks i've been experiencing cliché
pregnancy symptoms. my question is could these be caused
by so many double doses? my boyfriend and i have been
very active, unprotected. what do you ladies think?

I got pregnant by missing and then doubling up on bcp with my first and second child. It is definitely possible. Unfortunately it is a waiting game until AF is due.

i think that you should talk to your dr. i know that if you miss more that two pills in weeks 2 and 3 of your pack, you are not protected. i also know from experience that even missing one pill you can get pregnant. also, hormonal birth controll side effects often mimic the symptoms of pregnancy. take a hpt with fmu. if you get a negative result and still get symptoms or miss you af, test again at a later date...hope all goes well. also, use a back up method such as condoms untill you get a for sure answer.
