November due date?

Omg, I get leg cramps all the time! It's the worst! I have to be really careful about how I stretch when I'm waking up. One of the first times it happened though, I was pretty vocal and ow ow ow. Never seen DH wake up so fast *lol* 😂

Haha I know I wake up like hitting dh from being in pain I think sometimes it is from me stretching ugh won't miss these Charlie horses that's for sure!

Congrats on 37 weeks almost! I've actually been enjoying bananas over the last week - prior to this couldn't tolerate them. Maybe my body is telling me i need the potassium

Magnesium can help with cramping too. Almonds are my go to source.

I really wish we had family in the area. Everyone related to us is 7-8 hrs drive away. My last labor was around 5 hrs from the time we decided it was a go until my daughter was out. So I'm trying to cobble together a list of friends who can look after my daughter depending on when I go into labor. Our one pair of friends who agreed to take her overnight are out of town the week around my due date. But lil guy might be early or late. So who knows.

Worst comes to worst, she'll come to the hospital with us and my husband will have to look after her in the recovery room. My midwife was my support person last delivery. I don't think my husband knew what to do and I'm not a touchy feely person. I just need him close by in case something goes wrong and I need a medical proxy. And of course to meet his son.

We are struggling for childcare too :( we have no family, only my grandmother. She was going to look after the children for us just when I gave birth but she's fallen very ill so needs care herself now. As my son is autistic he won't just stay with anyone so DH will be looking after him and Aurora while I give birth as we have no one else. It sucks big time and I don't really want to give birth alone after a traumatic birth last time but I just want it over and done with now to be honest. Fed up of worrying about it.

Leg cramps here too. So painful. I hate them.

Mary so sorry to hear your grandmother has fallen I'll. we also just have my parents nearby and now that my sister is recovering from a stroke (being transferred to rehab tonight finally! ) I worry if she were to have something go wrong we wouldn't have my parents and would have to have dh miss out on the birth if a friend can't come watch our son at the hospital.

started getting sciatica a little tonight so annoying and pinchy

Nikko sorry to hear you also struggle with finding care since not much family around as well it makes for a tricky hospital plan for sure one never to be dealt with when you have no kids to begin with! all new to me!l since I just have ds.

baby girl is being very lazy today but little movements here and there throughout the day. I called my specialist obgyn for a second opinion and she said she doesn't recommend induction unless absolutely possible since it can give for a very long labor (my experience with ds exactly!) and lead to higher chances of having a csection which almost happened with my delivery as well. She did say I could get one more size scan toward the very end if I make it all the way to my due date to see if the baby is like 9lbs then she said csection but her and my obgyn don't seem worried about me going natural so natural it is hopefully the call definitely made me feel better and more confident and not doing csection and no induction.

I didn't know bananas could help with the leg cramps, such a dilemma I've never liked bananas the texture makes me gag I think I'll take my chances with the leg cramps :haha:

Everyone else is a couple weeks ahead of me 34 for me tomorrow :happydance: I will be induced at 38 weeks I'm not minding the induction with my son it was for the most part an enjoyable experience with no extended labour in fact less than 3 hours start to finish I appreciate I won't be that lucky second time around

let's hope you will be just as lucky that's great were you dialled at all when they induced you? I wasn't at all and my body was probably not ready but I was borderline pre eclamptic so didn't really have a big choice in the matter! I didn't even know induction had negatives with ds I was like let's just do it I want to meet him hahaha oops! I'll be more patient this time around since I doubt I'll have a medical need to be induced this time :)

had two meals and loads of snacks today just not in a big meal mood today kind of weird

How's everyone doing? We're getting closer!

I fell down the front steps of the apartment we're moving out of this morning. I ended up spending my afternoon in the hospital with monitors on my belly. I got the all clear after being there for a couple hours. My BH tonight have been a bit painful in case to being uncomfortable. I feel like my muscles must be strained from all the excitement.

Oh no Ser I am so sorry that happened that sound Avery scarey but glad you and baby are okay. Hope you can rest up and heal those sore muscles before labor! Sounds like you won't be helping much with the move anymore rest rest rest!

Oh gosh hope your OK must be in the air I took a tumble last night but landed on my knee and hand baby is fine but I have no skin on my knee haven't been like that since a kid :haha: and sore fingers nothing broken but quite bruised :dohh:

I need opinions ladies since there is no tmi here lol. Is this spotting?

Eugh sorry to hear about the fall ser glad everything checked out ok at the hospital.

Hunni, that's very pale for spotting - when did you notice it? Could have come from water works or some irritation around the vagina? Any other symptoms? I've had thrush with no other symptoms except a little irritation and pink/pale from a particularly irritated area.

I'm 37 weeks tomorrow - the week went quickly. 2 appointments including a midwife and consultant appt. Booked in finally for a c section at 39 weeks exactly after a long discussion. I feel it's the right thing after having forceps on the previous occasion.

Been having more mucous today - last lot had the tiniest bit of pink in the centre. I'm keeping an eye on it - last mucous I had was at 34 weeks after a cervical check and I was 1cm at that point.

Well I hospitalized for a few days the day before yesterday for baby's amniotic fluid depleting...IRL it has like a peach color to it

I would definitely call and let them know see what your obgyn on call says since it's the weekend!

I am being readmitted into the hospital A'mouri heart rate took a dip on the monitor. I'm also 3cm dilated so they are giving me steroids for her lungs just in case
