Hi! You might have seen this post over at 1st Tri if you spend any time over there ... I'm 10+4 (measuring 11+5 but they refuse to move my date up ) had my NT scan this morning. The NT measurement was 1.51 so far so good. Had my 1st Tri blood draw today, no results yet, of course. Anyways, IMO the scan pics the Sono made for me are not great but I wanted to share.
Any thoughts ladies, I know everyone asks and myabe it gets a bit much but I'm looking for some support. All this "high risk" stuff is super unfun. Thank you in advance.

Your NT measurement is great! And baby is a cutie, congrats! Hope the bloods are great too :hugs:

Awwww cute pics - I didn't have any tests I'm just going with the flow! Congrats on your pregnancy!

Thanks ladies! Congrats to both of you!

Storm, I don't think I'll go too far with the testing. DH and I have already decided "come what may" we feel blessed. But if we find out we're looking at some type of survivable disability we want to be prepared and have as much of a handle on it as possible. So we're taking the testing one step at a time. :)

Congrats on the great measurement and hoping for great blood test as well. I am 10 weeks today and go for my NT scan in about 2 weeks. Looks like we're due at about the same time and this is my first as well! Best of luck : )

That is a great measurement, nothing like all these tests being an older mom to freak us out. I am sure the blood tests will be just fine.

Thank you and congrats to you too! I will be having a C-Section (due to prior surgery) which will probably be scheduled about a week to ten days prior to my due date ... with luck our LOs really will be born about the same time. :hugs:

Edit: Yeah, so my brain isn't functioning at the highest level this morning. But I had a good laugh at myself ... so maybe you will too. Heehee!

Thank you goddess25! I know, you'd think after 35 they expect us to be able to produce nothing but dust from down there anymore. I always tell my doc ... I don't feel "advanced" in age. LOL!

Congrats on the good scan!

One note about the due date.... when I was pregnant with my son, I knew my actual date of conception. Knew it. For sure. But my doctor wanted to use my LMP to calculate the due date -- which gave me a due date 10 days later than my calculation based on date of conception.

Anyway, when I had my first scan, it showed me 10 days ahead of what the doctor predicted. (No surprise to me). Then at my second scan, it showed me 11 days ahead of what the doctor predicted. So I asked her why she wasn't changing my due date officially. She told me that due dates are not an exact science, that each baby grows a little differently, and that she didn't officially change her patients' due dates in their charts (especially with a first pregnancy) unless the scan showed a 14 day difference.

So guess when my son was born? Exactly on the due date that I had calculated. :)

Love your scan pics! Good to hear everything is good thus far. :) When are you expected to get your blood results?

I have my NT scan next week along with genetic counseling (already took blood) with the the amazing Dr. Atlas. He was my doc for my pregnancy with my DD and I am SO looking forward to seeing him. It makes me less nervous about the potentially scary genetic counseling.

My reg OB and the high risk OB both say they won't change the date unless it's more than a week difference. Which puts me just out of range. But I'm sure of my LMP and my O date would only put me ahead a day ... so, the only reason I want them to move it is because I WANT to be ahead. LOL. I want out of 1st Tri and on to 2nd!

Yeah, I had the counseling on Wednesday when I had the draw and scan. Fun, fun. As for when my results will be in, they said they'd call if I needed to know anything or I'd just go over the results at my next appt. which is October 21st when I have my anatomy scan. So I guess ... no news is good news.

I look forward to seeing your pics!
