NT scan today, yesterday couldn't find HB with Doppler at 11w3d... support!

Yesterday I had a checkup and they tried the Doppler, couldn't find HB at 11w3d. She didn't seem concerned, as my uterus is tilted back? (Found this out during my pap) and she only tried to look for a minute. I'm nervous because at my emerg. Ultrasound in hospital I wasn't allowed to have any pics or see baby. They also measured me as 4 days behind (this was back at 7w4d) so I just need reassurance.

That's ridiculous! Is there any way that you could call your doctor and tell them the situation and get in to get a scan? I would hope that your doctor would understand your concern. I would be a bit stressed and would definitely do what I could to get in to get another scan. Or do you have an ultra sound appointment soon?

Don't worry, a lot of the time it is hard to find babies heartbeat on the doppler until around or over 13 weeks.

Here in Ireland they don't even attempt the doppler until 16 weeks for the very reason that it frightens women unnecessarily.
It can be very tricky at your gestation as baby is so tiny.
