NTNP, CP question

So DH and I are not trying but we aren't preventing. I am a CP checker, I am on cycle day 27 of a 28-30 day cycle, my cervix is so high I can barely reach it and soft. I can't tell if it's closed or not because it's too high. Normally before AF it definitely drops. So my question is I know that it normally is not a sign to be used for pregnancy, but if you check it all the time, can it be a good predictor?

In general people who get preg usually have a high CP. I have a friend who is 7-8 months along and I remember her stating her CP was very high.
