NTNP/TTC for 3 years. Scared I am infertile!

Hey guys. I have been NTNP for the past 3 years and actively TTC for the past year with no results. I have been to a gynecologist who says it is nothing to worry about and things should happen when they are meant to. I am sick of waiting! is anyone else going through a similar struggle?

Hi me and my DH have been ttc for 2 years and we have just started ntnp for a more relaxed approach as its really getting to me. After we had been trying for 14 months we went to see our doc. DH had an SA and i had blood tests to test for ov. They all came back fine. He then referred us to a fertility specialist and whilst waiting for an appt we got a bfp. Unfortunately we mc at 6 weeks. We finally had our first fertility appt in early march and he basically tried to reassure us that everything was normal and that we will conceive again and told us to wait another year. Rather than reassure me just felt like i was back at square one. The thing is i don't think there is anything wrong but i feel so frustrated. Most people do not have to wait this long for their babies. I hope you get your bfp soon.

Sounds just like me! I try to stay positive but seeing so many people accidentally getting pregnant is so frustrating. It makes you feel like something is wrong with you I almost wish that my gynecologist did find something wrong or a diagnosis at least would be better than just "unexplained infertility"
I should not be having problems at my age! Its nice to be able to talk to people who are going through similar problems as me, makes me feel a lot better

Its definitely good to talk to others in similar situations as lttc can be a very lonely and isolating thing to go through. I said to my DH in way i wish something was wrong because at least then we would be able to get help and feel like we are moving forward. In other ways im glad there isn't anything wrong so we should be able to have a baby naturally. I just want that day to hurry up. Im sure when we do get our babies they will be worth the wait.

I had been told the same thing when I was 23 and was told that I would never have children. I tried for 4 years and got nowhere then stopped putting pressure and stopped focusing on this and when I least expected it I found out I was pregnant. Please I know how you feel.
