NUK teats

Not sure if this is the right place or not, but I am bf-ing my 6 weeks old daughter. We are trying to get her to take a bottle or two of ebm a day, which isn't going too badly so far now I am using an NUK bottle and latex teat. My question is, I have a load of Avent bottles, the NUK teat seems to fit the Avent bottle, is it ok to use one make of teat on another make of bottle? If so I can just buy a load of NUK teats rather than the whole bottles....

I dont know about avent specifically but I used nuk teats on my medela bottle. I got a pack of 4 nuk teats in poundland for £1 (obviously!) bargain!!!

I am not sure what they were made of- hypo allergenic latex I think?
