Nutramigen ?

Anyone LOs on it ? My OH tried to feed Alyssa with it for the 1st time but apparently she just screamed at it. I just read it tastes diff to normal formula but how do i get her to drink it ? Shes on it because shes screaming through feeds and its not silent reflux, so HV has given this for us to try, but i wnt know if its working as she wont take it?! Any ideas or experience with this milk ?

I had it for two of my older boys...think we got it when they were quite young so they didnt really know difference....it tastes quite bitter I think?

maybe try when she is really hungry? ....sorry not much help....but both my boys were fine on it

Thanks for the reply, theres not many people whos LOs are on it so have been finding it quite hard to get info. Hv advised me to put an oz of the formula into the normal formula bit by bit so she has 5oz of cow and gate and 1oz of nutramigen then ill up the nutramigen day by day, she seems to drink it for now

I was gonna suggest that but wasnt sure if you could?...thats great then , she will be fine on it....really helped mine

Both my neices had it but from very young so not sure they noticed a difference. Sorry i can't be of more help x

Thats ok girls, any response is better than nothing atm, just finding hard. It smells foul no wonder lissy doesnt wanna taste it, so far so good tho, althou i doubt she can taste an oz of it in the 5 she has. Thanks again for the replies xx
