O/T: Cabbage patch kids.

I had a normal one with the like ragdolly body and then I had like an all plasticy type stand up one that was dressed as a bunny and came with face paints so you could do her face like a bunny

my cabbage patch kid was called colleen june, she was white and had blonde hair that you could put crimpers and curlers in and wore a little dress.

I had loads. I used to love them, and wont let my mum get rid of them
The last one i got was in about 2008 "/ But that was only because it had the same birthday. I had been searching for years, and finally found one when i was 15/16 . She is still in the box.
The first one i got was 'born' on new years day, so every new year i took her with me to my aunties to celebrate her birthday, and new years day x

Polly Pockets are HUGE now. My little sister got some Polly Pocket boat thing for christmas and I was like.."That's not polly pocket." Did they gradually get bigger or did they just randomly decide to be an oxymoron? I hadn't seen them for years until I saw her polly giants!

That's amazing, Polly Giants! Love it!

My friends little girl is 5 and she buys the vintage ones off eBay because they both perfer them! Girls love having something to carry about that fits in your palm!

They were a bugger to open though, I used my teeth back in the day (can open them fine as an adult though!)

Cabbage patch kids, my Mum wouldn't let me have one. She had this horrible book written by some crazy christian about all the negative influences children get from toys. It was called "Terrors in the Toybox" or something. and she didn't like me having care bears or My Little Pony either. Grrr! If I have a girl I'm going to go OVERBOARD!!!

I was seriously into pokemon...cards are still in a drawer. I dressed up as a Bellsprout once to a fancy dress party, and sung the theme song on stage with my friend whilst we were dressed as "Ash and Gary". Oh dear.

OMG who collected Beanie Babies? I still have about 40 and all the Zodiaks. They are going on shelves in LOs room regardless of gender.
