Firstly, you're gonna need an awful lot of bacon for this party.

Secondly, what's a rasher?

Thirdly, it's divine. Dark, smooth chocolate permeated by tiny bits of bacon. It's just a perfect salty smokiness that goes perfectly with the rich dark chocolate. You wouldn't think it, but DAMN. I got it while I was in NYC. It was a $8 chocolate bar, but worth every penny!

my sis went to nyc a few years ago and loved it... i've never been but DH has... we're more bangkok type of people - late night markets, tuk tuks etc... take me there and leave me.

Never been to Bangkok. But Barcelona... f*** now there's a city. I'm a serious geek though, take me to a good museum or art gallery and I'm in heaven. Or feed me. Preferably both. Preferably bacon. Mmmmm....

On an off topic, my fav city I have been to in the US was San Francisco, though the food there was a bit bland to me.

4 hours away from London at the moment, I will be very close to London soon though when I move

I have only ever seen food from NYC on programmes but it look's good, and huge portions hehe!

True I was pregnant when I went, and am always food obsessed, but I would go back to NYC just for the food alone. DH and I went to a crazy fancy restaurant there - they brought us 4 different desserts. Drool....

Didn't have a burger there, come to think of it! NYC isn't the king of big food, though. It's bigger than England, but if you want big food? Try Texas.

Oh, but the sandwiches and cheesecakes were ginormous, now that I think of it!

mmmmmmmm sound's so good! On all the programmes i see of America the food is maasive portions! They look so nice though. If i lived over there I would never be able to eat healthy!!

We do have massive portions. That's why we are all so fat.

But mislaw is correct, go to Texas for GOOD food. Oh oh or Louisiana! Most of my family is from there, and you CAN NOT beat good old cajun food!

Now I want some gumbo....

Yeah, the portions are generally gigantic. Here it's pretty bad too (compared to my experience elsewhere in the world anyway), but there's a noticeable difference when I cross the border. But NYC isn't that bad in comparison to the rest of the states. Also noticed...they aren't as uh...big as people in many of the other states I've been too!

Oh DAMN, I went to New Orleans this spring. The food there...omfg. Toss up between where I liked the food more between Louisiana and NYC.

Ugh...I need to go on a food vacation!
