OB and fertility testing question for USA girls

The biggest problem with their referral was that the FS doesn't treat single people and we have no intentions of getting married

Wow, find a new doc. It's actually none of their business if you're married or not. And it somehow sounds unethical to me for a doc to do that!!

I so agree with this, who do they think they are to tell you that you have to be married, is this a fertility place or church? You need to find another doctor asap!!

My OB could do everything including the IUI, the problem was that they did not want to take what the insurance company would pay them for the procedure, so they wanted me to pay the difference, there was no way i was going to do that, so i went to a specialist, but i dont see why your ob would not be able to do the testing to see if your ovulating, you dont need a specialist for that!!
