Obese and TTC

Ok so it is embarassing to even write here but I have an extremly high BMI of 52, and I am 26. I have lost about 15 lbs the past few months but still far from ideal.

I need to know if anyone has found their weight to be a problem concieving, or after they were pregnant. I'm just starting to TTC#1, and wondering what I'm getting into.

Hi i weighed about 230lbs when i fell pregnant first time and 250lbs when i fell pregnant second time it didnt cause me any problems but it could have as i was at a higher risk because of my bmi and i could give birth at the birthing centre i wanted either because of my bmi which was rubbish.

I was about 280 with hypothyroid and had regular 24-25 day cycles and I have gotten pregnant 4 times. In August 2005 it was with my twins. In March 2008 I m/c'd in April. In December 2008 it was with my last son and in February 2011 I m/c'd for my 3rd time in March. I had a m/c in April 1992 when I was 18. I am now 38. GL to you! I am wttc in September and am losing weight in the mean time.
