Hi, can't believe I'm back in this section but anyway.
I have had no trouble falling pg, fell both times within 2 cycles, so I don't have infertility issues, I have problems holding on to the baby past 8-9wks. So do I need an Ob for the next time I get pg and should I go see one before I get pg or do I see a fertility specialist? My dr has referred me to the fertility specialist but since I don't think recurring mc is a fertility issue should I be looking for an OB to help me as soon as I fall again or even before?

My OB helped me in Jan.. but then I had a mc and went to see a FS just because I felt like they were more on top of things than my OB would be.. like the FS's goal is to get you pregnant and usually cares for you the 1st trimester. Are you taking baby aspirin out of curiosity? I might add that if you're not just in case... :hugs: I'm so sorry you've been through this twice.. lots of dust for you!! :dust:

I'm seeing an ob - but thats typical where I live not because of the miscarriages. But they arent being very helpful - even after miscarriage #2. I would wonder if a FS would be more helpful?

I'm sorry for your losses :hugs:

I hadn't veen heard of baby aspirin before I lost the second baby, I will have to look into it before I start really trying again. Thanks for your replies ladies

My OB told me she sends people who have trouble maintaining a pregnancy to a reproductive endocrinologist.
