So I was thinking the other day about all the odd places that I have breastfed my LO.
- At the supermarket
- In the middle of an electronics store
- At a junk store

Thats all I can think of for now.
I'm not one to go about flashing my breasts but if my bub needs a feed then I won't be holding her off. Discreet is good :)

Scottish parliament? Sounds cool!

It really wasn't. I was there for a meeting and the Parliament is family friendly with a creche and breastfeeding policy. So no one batted an eyelid.

At a train station (in the rain and in the dark!)

in my car at the town hall after i had registered him he was starving then 20mins later in mothercare lol

oh and in the car again at wickes car park lol

On the floor in tescos as they dont provide chairs in their baby changing facility :hissy:

How extremely annoying! Thats stupid.

-standing at the waiting area at the airport. There was no chair available,so busy and he was screaming for food, lol
-baby department in the shopping center, on the seat where clients try their shoes on,the staff was furious, lol
-petrol station
-in the shopping center at the clothes department ,on the stool where the staff sit because he was hungry and i couldn't find anywhere to sit

its so anoying isnt it that hardly anywhere doesnt provide feeding places, the only place in barnsley town centre that provides somewhere for bf is mothercare.
my HV is on a mission of war at our hospital as when i took cal for his hip test its a new childrens outpacients unit it was jam packed, no where to sit and when i asked if there was anywhere i could go to bf i got told not a chance and to pacify my baby.
i was fuming as the hospital is supose to have a bf policy in place.

-grocery store, a lot when Bren was little. I would lower the Bjorn and latch him on and get my shopping done.

-On a hike. Just lowered the Mei Tai, and on he went.

-On the floor of a convention center during a big boutique sale.

Complain complain! I havent bfed anywhere guys except at home! Rubbish!

I'm quite boring too.... at home, at my friends' houses, err... in a cafe that's about as exciting as it gets.

just remembered- in the library does this count as unusual? Cos it is on our way home from town and it is in the breastfeeding welcome scheme.

Anything thats not home can be unusual! I made this thread so ppl see you don't have to be stuck at home if you bf. :)

Coming home from Cameron's swimming lessons Archie wanted a feed, so pulled down the sling, latched him on and fed:

-on the train platform (dark and rainy)
-on the train all the way home
-walking along the street from the train to home!

It was the first time we had both managed a feed on the go and I was well chuffed!

My LO seems to wake up demanding boobie juice as soon as we get on a bus!!!
Where i usually have to sit with the pram i face the rest of the bus as well which can be tricky!!

I went into work yesterday (I work in a hospital in Operating Theatres), for a catch up and a natter. Never thought I would be there for 2 hours! So I ended up feeding:
Theatre managers office
Theatre coffee room - while talking to 3 consultants!!

Never thought I'd have the balls to do that, but I thought sod it! If they're offended, they'll soon leave!
