Off to the CSA it is...advice please

Does baby need to be registered before I can apply to CSA?

I'm gonna hopefully send the form off tomorrow so how long do you reckon before I hear anything?

Not sure if baby has to be registered first.. It only took a couple of days for me to hear from them. A really nice woman called me on the phone to confirm some things from my application and to ask a couple of questions.

i emailed them rather than relying on the postal service and they called me back within 3 days, i didnt have an address for FOB just where he worked and they managed to get it all sorted in about 5 weeks

Yeah baby needs to be registered, as you need to have the child benefit number for csa to start the ball rolling, and you gotta send off there BC to child benefit, its all linked!!!xxx

hey as long as you have applied for child benefit first, as they need a ref number. they don't take long to get back to you, but the more info you have on FOB the better. good luck
