Hello everyone!
Officially a single mummy as of yesterday. Got a delightful call from my (ex) OH telling me things werent working out. I had actually been thinking the same thing but was waiting until i saw him at the weekend to have it out... We've been in a long distance relationship for a while.
In that respect my day to day life wont change as ive been taking care of Jacob on my own since he was born, but it still sucks.

Ive just had to psyche myself up and pour myself a glass of wine to change my status on fb to single.. Pathetic huh?

Well you don't necessarily need a coward in your life anyway do you? Face to face would have been better for news like this.

So sorry this has happened and you never got to discuss it in a mature fashion.

Onwards and upwards is the way to go. And it is true that time is a great healer - cliched but true nonetheless. Just allow yourself the time you need to deal with the situation and do what's best for you. I know you said you were kinda thinking similarly but it's still a shock really.

Thanks youre right, it was still a shock.. I know it was the right thing though, so Im just focusing on that.

I've been a single mommy for a year now, things get worse before they get better, my sons dad broke up with me over a text, sucky and coward way to break up with me! he didn't even wanna talk about it!

Im sorry for whats happened but at least you know its for the best and that you are able to deal with the day to day caring for LO.
