OH is NOT being supportive!! *UPDATE - went for early scan*

I sort of understand why but he is getting on my last nerve!! I could actually strangle him.

We had a bfp last month which ended in mc on xmas day.. Natural mc and levels went back to normal by the 28th! And also an empty uterus on a follow up scan to make sure i'd passed it etc.

Now we've got another bfp without having a months break which is a LOT stronger than last months, i'm a day further than the mc etc and i'm scared but i've got hopes for this one to be the one we take home! He on the other hand is CONVINCED that it's just tissue from the last one that's growing and making tests positive!!

Not being funny but surely they'd have stayed positive afterwards then?!

Arghhhhh I dislike him so much right now

That's what I said! I'd KNOW if I was in horrific pain etc if I was bleeding inside from an ectopic or whatever and i'd take myself to the hosp.. He's trying to make me go for a scan tomorrow and it's far too early to see anything much so it's going to worry me more than he is right now! Urghhh x

Yeah 5 weeks is a bit earily but i hope you see something. Try it stay positive cuz either way, worrying wont help anything.

Hi Katia, I'm cautiously popping into this section of the forum from my usual home in second-tri loss, and felt that I just had to reply to your message. After losing my first baby at 22 weeks in September I got pregnant again in December but then lost it just before 5 weeks just before new year. I then got pregnant again straight away without a gap like you, and I reckon I'm about 5 weeks along now. Its reassuring to know i'm not the only person getting pregnant straight after a loss.

I'm sorry your OH is refusing to believe your latest BFP. Maybe he's in disbelief that it could actually be true - my hubby thought there was no chance we'd be lucky enough to get pregnant again so quickly! Or maybe its a self-protection thing and he's trying not to get his hopes up too soon.

An early scan would probably be a lovely thing for you both, but could you maybe delay him for a couple of weeks so you'll definitely be able to see something? Will you be offered an early scan on the NHS or will you go private? I'll be having an nhs one in 2 weeks time partly because of my previous loss but also because my midwife wants to date me properly and I didn't have a proper period after last month's loss.

I'm with you, It's most likely a new pregnancy so congratulations again and here's hoping you have a healthy and happy 9 months! We had a m/c in October and 25 days later I found out I was pregnant again. I had an ultrasound and blood work to confirm everything had passed and my levels were back to normal. I just wanted you to know that it does happen and I'm now at 15 weeks with everything looking great. I had an ultrasound at 6w2d and you could see the new little one and a tiny heartbeat. So if you do go you may want to wait just a few days more so you can see something.

He won't be delayed, thinks I'm gambling with my own life if I don't go like yesterday!! It will be through the early pregnancy unit due to dating and last month etc due to no break like yourself xx

Thank you, when my levels went back down and I saw an empty uterus I figured there is no way it'd be from back then! Awh that's lovely to hear, good luck with your baba! I may try to delay him until Monday but I doubt it'll be easy xx

6 w 2 d and saw the little flutter of the heart beat. It was a bit slow (109) so back next week to make sure it picked up. Fingers crossed so tight.

Went for the early scan today thinking I was 5w6d, we saw a gestational sac the size of a 4-5wk old sac (totally possible that I ov'd later than usual due to hcg levels from last month so I could be a little earlier on than thought) and the sonographer said it looks like one but "may just be fluid" - why the hell!

Got to go back next week for another to see if there's any progression.. Wish me luck! x
