Oh my god :( disaster :(

My parents brought my wedding dress summer 08 as I was due to get married summer 09 but we had a baby and postponed it until nov 10.
I have been working hard to lose the weight but I tried it on earlier today and it is nowhere near fitting
I have totally changed shape and it looks horrendous.
What the hell am I going to do?
I am absolutely devastated.

i have to loose 2 stone to get into mine. You still have a little bit of time. Will the gym or alterations help??

have you thought about selling it hon and buying something else? what ever you wear, getting married is the most important thing

See about getting it altered slightly. Most seamstresses can take your dress out a couple of inches which may help xx

Is it a zip or lace up back? If it's a zip, could a seamstress maybe put a lace up in it? This will give you a few more inches to play with. I suggest speaking to a local seamstress to see if it can be altered or if not, buying a sample dress.

Don't panic!

I gained like 2 stone after buying my dress then got pregnant, so rounder tum and bigger chest! Find yourself a good seamtress and see what they can do. Most dresses will give you 2 inches le-way either side and a modesty panel will block the back out.

There was nothing we could do but buy a new dress. Was about 5 inches out.
But on the plus side I now have a dress I love even more
