Oh, my poor belly button!

I'm only 17 weeks along at this point, and so far my belly button has gone from being a dainty little slit to a giant crater I can stick my finger in all the way to the bottom!

I'm not even hardly showing, either...

Anyone else have belly button woes? (Sorry, I know it's a silly thread, but I'm in a super goofy mood at the moment! )

Yup! I normally have an outie but mostly an innie, if that makes any sense, but now what used to be the innie is almost flush with my belly! Although my biggest problem is that I had an umbilical hernia repair two years ago and if I eat an actual meal it feels like the mesh is ripping the muscle- not enough room for baby and food. Wonder what will happen when I'm full term!

I never used 2 be able 2 c the bottom of my belly button it was as u say just a slit...now i can c the bottome and my piercing has moved up about a cm!! Weird! Xx

One of my biggest pregnancy fears is that my innie is going to outie itself! So far it's still a slit, phew!

Mine hasn't changed yet, but what I am dreading more is the hole where my piercing used to be stretching out and looking disgusting. I took the bar out about 5 years ago, but had it in since I was 12 so it has never fully healed.

I also had a transverse sub-dermal piercing below the belly button, which healed to leave two perfect round scars side by side an inch apart below my navel. They are about twice as far apart now!

Me too. My belly button was always a clear open circle but since my belly is going out it looks like it's stretching open further. lol

Hmm, that's strange. My belly button seems to have gotten shallower and is now nearly even with my belly. Maybe it will turn into an outie? Great, now I feel like a freak...

ur not alone! mine is shallower than before as well

I think mine's headed that way too, jc -- it's more that's it's become WIDER first, then it'll go shallower once I get bigger.

My bellybutton always just goes flat, never actually turns into an outie. Mmmm wonder if it will this time?......
