Soooooo I'm re-lactating again. I know, again. I started losing my milk and gradually cut feeds until I was a combination feeder, then decided maybe it was time to stop as I'd made it past 4 months.

Erm, worst decision ever. Totally regret it now.

So I'm back to square one. All over again. Humph.

It was easy for my milk to go so quick as I had dropped down slowly to a couple of feeds a day. Plus my HV was on my back to stop BFing and FF as Niamh wasn't gaining any weight, and is now in the 0.4% so I felt bad BFing.

We were almost at the no milk whatsoever stage when I started back up at the beginning of this week, and today I have leakage! Only from one side, but whatever, I'm happy! Niamh also fed for 5 mins too. Luckily she still love boobie.

No idea why I am doing this AGAIN. I'm a glutton for punishment? Wondering why I just couldn't get it right the first time

Well, I wanted to reach my goal of 12 months BFing, and I'm not there yet. So I think I may be sticking around for awhile.

i never knew you could get your milk back? i am really missing feeding charlie. so if i put him on the boob more i will gradually get my milk back?

Yes you can! If you are willing to put in the hard work, you can bring your milk back.

Do you have any milk at the minute, or is it totally gone? By any milk, I mean any small amount. Even if it's clear fluid that you only get a tiny leak from every so often.

my boobs are really engorged at the moment and the let down is killing me. But i just thought that now he was on ff i shouldn't put him back on the boob - and i presumed that he wouldn't get anything now anyway?
