OH's Job...

Well basically my OH works on an army base as a maintenance worker they are closing it down as of october they have said there will be some jobs cut and some redundancys being very vague about it all. But that they have to apply for their jobs again if they want to carry on working for them at the new place where they are moving too...now summer is their busiest time of year and my worry is they are keeping him there for the summer n then will just let him go october time when theres no jobs available at all. What advice has anyone got?

Oh hun i TOTALLY understand what your going through
I am currantly ringing our mortgage company for advice and job centre as OH has no job from this friday!!
I am so worried. I really hope your OH is going to be ok in his job, its an awful situation!

I can understand this. My OH lost his job in January, had a big fight with labour relations, and hasn't been able to find work since. It's looking more and more like we'll have to move to Alberta just so he can find work. Which I dont really mind, cuz I have family over tehre. but he hates the thought of leaving BC and the mountains. I feel kind of bad making him leave all his family behind too.
