*positive hpt mentioned

Anyone else suffering from mild ohss? Signed off work for two weeks, abdomen full of fluid and a little scared. I know positive hpt should make me feel better but I dont think that has sunk in / think I need to get further into pg than before if that makes sense.
Am 13dpt and would love to hear from people with advice or going through same thing. Please no scary stories - found so many on internet and I am being monitored closely by hospital and doing all the 'right' things - lots of fluid, increased protein, salty food and rest. I know when to seek further medical help and wont hesitate! Would just love to receive and give support with this - its really crap!

I had it between EC and transfer-not nice but it settled on its own. Ur doing all the right things. Just try to rest as much as possible. U'll get through it x

Thanks very much for your reply, great to hear that your body worked out what to do despite the increasing hcg due to pregnancy. Congrats on your little one too! Hopefully my body will work out what to do soon as well :) Thanks again x

I just thought I would update in case anyone finds on google and wonders what the outcome was. My OHSS started 7dpt and now at 20dpt I am feeling significantly better. Not able to eat big meals yet, in fact better if just have cereal in the evening or bloating and constipation is really bad. Been sleeping upright but getting more and more horizontal. Still cant sleep on side but ovaries shrinking. The scary bit was how quick it came on and how bloated I got. If you are going through it - see your doctor, they will take it very seriously and keep a close eye on you and drink loads, my nurse said water or squash best but I had powerade if I felt low on energy and protein shakes were a great way of getting extra protein. It seems to be the extra protein in abdomen that makes you poorly as it takes fluid so you need to eat it to help your blood win the fluid back! Dairylea triangles, avocado, cheese, eggs and nuts helped me but if you eat meat you have even more choice. Hope this helps if you find it at the right time - its horrid but does get better x

Glad to hear you're feeling better. Hopefully it will all be worth it in the end!!! :D
