Can drinking while TTC really affect things? Is it a bad idea to drink during the TWW? I rarely drink but I have had two glasses of champagne the past week. Is it really going to affect my chances of getting pg? I was considering having another glass tonight as its xmas eve but I'm feeling guilty. I already feel like I'm out this month anyway.

They say not to drink too much blah blah blah if TTC etc but personally I found putting your life on hold was mentally draining & I know many will agree that until they get that second line life goes on as normal :D

personal choice though I would say hun x

Lifes to short to put these things on hold.
People go on benders and get pg and the baby is fine!

i agree ...you should enjoy your holidays seasons with your loves one and relax and drinks !!!without feeling guilty...for sure i don't :)
MERRY CHRISTMAS to you all!

i was drinking when i fell pregnant with Kabe, despite having only 35% chance of falling pregnant again so soon, and he still appeared lol. not that we knew it would, or we might have been more careful lol.

I;d say have a drink, if its in moderation then it cant hurt

I wouldn't worry about it so much. Enjoy yourself. If you are really concerned maybe just not drink or just not drink an entire glass....that is what I do hahaha...not that is better since you are still drinking! BUT I would say like everyone else, you shouldn't put everything on hold. Hope you had a great X-mas!

I was wondering the same thing when my hubby was passing me a drink this holiday season. At one Christmas party we attended, i did however tell our host i was not going to drink because i was TTC (i was really designated driver for the night). it was funny how all my hubby's buddies picked on him the rest of the night calling him "Daddy"

I would personally have a drink or two. Perhaps you could dilute the champagne with a little lemonade? so it won't be so strong....

But you've got to enjoy life hun..

sweetie, so long as it's not loads, binge drinking, over the recommended weekly allowance etc etc you'd be fine, and so long as you stopped when you got a BFP x
