Okay, am I awful!? Cause this is driving me crazy!

All right, this is a little bit silly, but I've gotta just let it out and hope I don't sound totally mean or evil or anything! haha

Usually I adore little kids- any little kids! I'm okay with snot, drool, food, messes, etc... and I still have a great time playing with children. LATELY, though... OH MY GOD. Any children that aren't my 2 year old cousin (his mom is my mom's little sister and they have always lived with us), drive me absolutely bonkers! Like, to the point where I can barely stand to be around toddlers. They're cute from a distance, but I find myself being grossed out by snotty faces or chewed up food, I'm not patient with crying (my aunt babysits a lot so there are always tons of little kids around) and I've been getting irritated really quickly. I hate it! I'm such a kid-friendly person, and even have applied for a few babysitting gigs lately (whoops bah!) because I enjoy little ones so much, but dear god if I hear more crying or have to wipe off one more dirty face or change another shitty diaper that doesn't belong to somebody I'm related to I'm going to cry! haha. I know I don't HAVE to do any of these things, but I just don't like the idea that I'm so easily annoyed when it's just so unlike me!

As I type my aunt is toting around one of the cutest little girl toddlers I have ever seen- she has such a sweet face and an adorable little voice, but I'm irritated whenever she starts whining or asking for anything- even if she's just looking at me! I feel so bad! . Her family are friends with my family and they come over a bunch, so she knows me really well and always wants to play around with me, but today I just cannot bare to even pick her up She obviously has a cold (snotty face- ya know- the dry crusty stuff *PUKE*, coughing and raspy voice, runny nose, hands covered in drool and snot) and I am seriously on the verge of gagging whenever she gets too close to me.

What the hell is wrong with me !? This is SO unusual!

Yeah I definately agree with kristina.
Your hormones get the best of you sometimes. I wouldnt worry about it, that does not make you at all awful.

Hormones for sure! I get this way with my DD, especially because of the age shes at. Its awful

I get so annoyed when my sister peaks. Like literally whatever she has to say roll my eyes. Also when MIL speaks i feel like slapping myself.
Its horrible but i just blame the hormones!

My mil drives me.nuts! Shes the "know it all" type and its ti the point where I cant physically see her, and I swear if she says "you jist wait until hes.born..." again, Ill probably fucking choke her. Gah!

Hahaha, well, on the subject... oh my god my MIL (not quite because OH and I are not married, yet) is a total know it all. "Oh you just wait until he's born..." , "Ohhh you just wait til you're EIGHT months pregnant!" ,, "Ooooh you think you won't have anymore but you're going to have so many kids!" ,, and she's just really talkative and pushy in general. She's super loud and crazy. She's really sweet and supportive, but hell! My boyfriend recently moved out of her house, and I still live across the street from her. I'm actually starting to feel bad because I never go visit her or talk to her
