Older partner (40+) - increased time to pregnancy?

Hi ladies - I'm wondering if any of you conceived with an older partner (over 40), and if so how long it took to conceive. DH is 47 and has 2 children from his previous marriage. This is our 8th cycle ttc. I read somewhere that it takes men over 40 an average of 2 years to impregnate a woman under 25. I'm 34 so the odds are not in our favor!
