When we told DD on Friday we are having a girl I suggested she could name it (dont ask me why). She suggested Olivia which DH loves I like it but Im worried its too common (UK) I dont know any other Olivias apart from my friends 8 year old but it is definately top 3 depending which site u look at.

Is at that common?
is common bad?
Is It 'chavvy' common?

Olivia is a beautiful name. My sister has just had a baby girl (she lives in South Africa) and has named her girl Olivia Rose. So feminine! It's not a common name at all in SA, I only know one other Olivia.

We considered this along with Eliza and Annie, it says it's number one but I don't know of any (apart from a 21 year old who goes by Libby)
It's a beautiful name and I love the nick name Olive x

It is common , wouldnt say its at all Chavvy.

Well not from where im from anyways (cardiff)

Also love Olive which is bit different but just as nice :)
