Omg HELP! Washing Bamboo!!

Im so confused!!

Ive been using microfiber inserts and have switched over to bamboo. I got them today and im prepping them now - bamboo inserts and wipes. However, I use my homemade laundry detergent that has baking soda in it. Its been great, and as a family with severely sensitive skin, I can ONLY use this.

I heard baking soda + bamboo was a no no, but I googled and many women go ahead and use their baking soda detergents on their inserts that are bamboo.

Ive already started... is this okay? Im so lost now!!

PS: Its organic bamboo, not bamboo rayon or charcoal bamboo. Thanks

BabyCleo - I can't help with the washing with baking soda and bamboo as I can't use baking soda. It causes dd to get ezcema. BUT I'd be really interested in what you use for your homemade laundry powder. I was thinking about using soapnuts.
